A New Standard for Web3 Stories & Lores

Tracverse is built around the concept of “Living Stories”. These are stories produced as knowledge assets on the Decentralized Knowledge Graph that offer the potential to build unique relationships.

The Heart of Tracverse: Knowledge Graphs Reign Supreme

At the heart of Tracverse is the Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG). The DKG is a technology that allows for the creation, exchange, and connection of data in a decentralized manner. It’s designed to handle complex structured data and make it interoperable across different systems with ease. This is achieved through the use of knowledge assets, which are pieces of information that have been structured and linked in a way that they can be easily understood and used by both humans and machines.

In our first article, Introducing the Tracverse: Web3’s First Graph Omniverse, we briefly highlighted the potential of knowledge assets within Web3. Today we’re going to be talking about how we’re using Knowledge Assets to revolutionize the essential pillar of every ecosystem across the globe – it’s story.

A Living Omniverse: The Next Generation of Interactive Storytelling

Maarifa LivingStory Omniverse

The concept of “Living Stories” within an interconnected graph omniverse is what sets Tracverse apart from other storytelling ecosystems. The stories of Maarifa are not only wild fantasies brought to life by synergistically fusing human creativity with the support of AI but are ever evolving entities living on the Decentralized Knowledge Graph. We’re turning stories into verifiable assets that can be dynamically enhanced and interconnected throughout the Decentralized Knowledge Graph over time.

What Do You Mean “Verifiable” & “Discoverable”?

In the context of Tracverse and the Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG) when a story is turned into a knowledge asset, it becomes a part of the DKG, which is a decentralized, verifiable, interoperable, multi-blockchain knowledge graph system that allows for data exchange and data connection.

The verifiability of a Living Story comes from the inherent properties of the DKG. Each Living Story in the DKG has a unique identifier and is linked to other assets in a graph data structure. This means that the origin, authenticity, and integrity of Tracverse Living Stories can be verified against the DKG. Any changes or additions to the story (knowledge asset) are also recorded and verifiable, making the evolution of the story transparent and trustworthy.

Furthermore, the interconnectivity of the DKG allows for the story to be dynamically enhanced over time. As more knowledge assets are added to the DKG, they can form new connections with existing assets, including web3 assets as well as real world assets that live in the DKG. This can add new layers of immersion, context, and meaning to the Living Assets within the Tracverse ecosystem, all of which are verifiable through the DKG.

In summary, the concept of knowledge assets when applied in the manner created by Tracverse turns our unverified disconnected stories into verifiable Living Stories by providing a transparent, trustworthy, and dynamic record of the story within the Decentralized Knowledge Graph.

Not only are our stories verifiable, have a brief preview of the Maarifa Omniverse itself on the DKG. Here you can see the Kuvuka Omni-Core in action:

Tracverse Maarifa Omni-Core on the Decentralized Knowledge Graph

At Tracverse, our ambition extends beyond the creation of an endless cycle of disconnected narratives. We firmly believe that the essence of NFT communities and any ecosystem, akin to our digital assets and images in the Web3 landscape today, should be verifiable and deeply interconnected with the outcomes of its influence. In essence, the narrative that underpins our motivation and rationale for building should be discoverable. Like Living Stories, another core lifeblood of our ecosystem also resides within the Graph – our Darishas, or Living Characters.

More on this another time 😉

Some Benefits of Interconnectivity

  1. Inspired by Dr. Bob Metcalfe, we aim to connect living stories within the decentralized knowledge graph and open these core assets to the power of network effects among all of the other assets within the decentralized knowledge graph (this includes assets that may be added from different Polkadot Parachains as well as EVM compatible blockchains). This offers unlimited potential connections between our living assets and other assets living within the DKG. Real world and digital alike.
  2. The DKG’s inherent interconnected structure makes it an ideal foundation for constructing immersive, interconnected experiences. Owners in our ecosystem possess more than just an on-chain NFT asset; they also own access to an accompanying asset graph that uniquely signifies the existence of their character within Maarifa. This provides a truly verifiable and discoverable Omniverse experience.
  3. The DKG plays a pivotal role in fostering a robust, engaged community. As users participate in the creation and evolution of living stories, they cultivate a sense of ownership and belonging, thereby enhancing the overall community experience within Tracverse.

Tracverse: Not Just Another NFT Storytelling Platform

In conclusion, Tracverse is not just another NFT storytelling platform. It’s a groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind multi-reality, multi-blockchain, and multi-metaverse epic narrative. It’s an Omniverse in the true sense, offering an ambitious, interconnected storyline that is firmly rooted in the powerful synergy between OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG) and AI technologies. With “Living Stories” at the center of the Tracverse, we offer a unique and innovative approach to storytelling in the Web3 space.
